LONGROOM DOES IT AGAIN AT NEWCASTLE

It's been a busy couple of months between breaking yearlings, yearling sales, horses in training sales at Tattersalls, and cleaning and painting the yard while most of the horses are out on their holidays. In between all this, we ended October and started November with another 3 winners bringing our total to 36 for the year.

Last night it was Longroom at Newcastle who won for the third time this year. Ridden by Graham Lee he made some headway over two furlongs out to lead inside the final furlong and won easily by half a length. He has been a star for us this season and for his owners The Slaters Arms and Marwood racing.

Four days before that it was Son and Sannie who got his head in front for us at Wolverhampton. Bought privately from Ireland by Taylors Bloodstock this was only his third run for us and drawn wide he showed blistering speed from the gates to get across under P J Mcdonald to lead and hang on at the line by a short head. He's an exciting prospect for the future and we are looking forward to seeing him progress.

Two days before that Nibras Again made it his second win of the season and his first win on the all-weather. Ridden by Kevin Stott he got up to lead in the final furlong to win by three-quarters of a length. Well done to his owners the pee dee tee syndicate, Mr. Stephenson and Timmy Midgley
