We are now well into the third week of racing since being allowed to resume behind closed doors and it's great being able to get the horses out running again. We've had 24 runners so far with a few just hitting the crossbar until Redcar when Buccaneer's vault got us off the mark in the 6f handicap with Kevin Stott in the saddle.

The first week in June Malitia, Longroom and Buniann all ran cracking races getting placed up at Newcastle and none of them were beaten far at all. At Doncaster, we had our first 2 yr old runner Burning Cash who ran a promising race and looks like he could be a fun little horse to look forward to in the future. The following day at Doncaster we were busy with four runners, Orvar ran a blinder to finish 3rd in the 5f handicap and in the 5f listed race it was an exciting finish when Tarboosh looked like he was about to give us our first winner, last of the bridle he battled to the line but unfortunately he didn't get the better of El Astronate and just got beat half a length with stablemate Final Venture finishing in 3rd looking like he's coming back into form again.

On Tuesday we headed to Thirsk with 6 runners that were all in the same race, although we didn't have a winner Indian Sounds faired the best of the sextet finishing 2nd with Van Gerwen in 3rd, Nibras Again in 4th and Desert Ace in 5th.

On Wednesday we were at Beverley where Requiems Dream struggled to overcome her wide draw and Pavers Pride managed to get up for 2nd place even from his wide draw. On Thursday it was Redcar's first meeting of the season where we had our first winner since the resumption of racing with Buccaneers Vault in the 6f handicap. Well Done to his owner Sheila Bradley. Below is a video of him the morning after his run enjoying getting very muddy in the paddock.

We will be busy again over the weekend where Buniann heads to Lingfield on Friday, Dalton and I am a dreamer head to Ripon on Saturday, Sunday we are back at Redcar with Hurstwood, Leapers Wood and Sambucca Spirit and Monday its Ayr with Merry Banter and Tanasoq.
