MERRY BANTER RETIRES TO STUD

When you think of merry banter tough and hard as nails spring to mind, The tiny speed queen with a heart like a lion is how you would describe her. We will be really sad not to have her in training anymore as she was a pleasure to have in the yard. she always ran with her heart on her sleeve, never gave up and was the quickest out of the gates you would ever see.

She ran 10 times as a two-year-old winning twice, including a plus 10 bonus race at Catterick and was never out of the placings in the rest of her runs. She ran 46 times and won seven races and her last race at Ayr in June she finished third in a listed fillies race her best run ever giving her some black type to her name and making her more worthy for breeding.

She will be living out her years of being a mother back in Ireland at Tally ho Stud and we wish them all the best with her and look forward to seeing her babies in the future.

This was her last win at Epsom last year under Harry Bentley
