The weather at Newcastle tonight was horrendous as storm Dennis hit the track with force but it didn't stop Patrick from battling in the finish to just hang on at the line. It was an agonizing five minutes for everyone waiting for the judge to call the winner of the photo finish and luckily for us Patrick and Barry Mchugh came out on top. He was given a fantastic ride from Barry and they deserved to win and we are so happy for his owners the Blackburn family who have been so patient with this horse and always believed he would make it back into the winner's enclosure. well done to them !
